Update 12/30/10

From Michael…
In honor of their birthday’s on Saturday a few stories from some of our favorites.
Marquetry continues to impress with his classy disposition and intelligent presence. He’s bonded with Sunshine Forever and, every night, he comes when he hears his name and the snap of a carrot.
Fortunate Prospect (Grandpa) continues to tolerate us with all of our failings. Whenever we drop a little feed on the ground he just sighs – as if to say, I thought I taught you better than this. But he keeps it to himself.
There’s no one more beautiful than Hidden Lake who jogs beside me every morning and, occassionally, lets me win.
Kiri’s Clown loves his new shed. He’s very grateful to everyone who contributed, particularly, his breeder and owner, Mary Sullivan.
We got a great Christmas card from Ann and Jerry Moss and Zenyatta. What an honor.
Check out Little Silver Charm’s cheesy attempts to woo Zenyatta with a photo of himself bringing a bottle of Guinness and a box of chocolates to her at Lane’s End. (on his Facebook page.. Little Silver Charm at Old Friends)
Gulch loves living outside. He’s the amazing self-grooming horse and doesn’t suffer fools gladly. Clever Allemont never looked better. He follows us around like a big old puppy dog. Cherono, the youngster, gallops around his paddock showcasing his youthful exuberance. Personalized, Precisionist’s wonderful daughter, has really blossomed.
The Name’s Jimmy, who derives his moniker from the late Jimmy Burns, a haberdasher from Chicago, is perfectly named because he has the best looking coat on the farm and Wallace Station, named after the restaurant, has the worst table manners on the farm. I thank everyone for everything and hope that everyone can visit in 2011 and see the magnificent manifestation tremendous generosity.
