Old Friends Visitor Information

Tours are daily at 10 am, 1 pm & 3 pm.  Reservations are required.  To schedule a tour, you must call us at (502) 863-1775.  Tours are $10.00 for adults and kids under 12 are free.  The office and gift shop are located in the visitor center which is open from 10:00 - 4:00.

Please note winter hours at our Kentucky farm November 4th through March 7th - all tours are daily at 11:00 only

We offer a guided walking tour of at least an hour. You will meet our equine residents and learn about their careers and lives. Each horse has a very individual story. Some of them were rescued from very bad situations, others were kindly donated by their owners. Some of them were fantastic race horses, others didn't earn anything but our respect.  Come on out, our champions love company!

Some details:

We are a working farm.  Please realize that there may be mud, flies and the typical odors of a farm.  Our tours are all outside, so dress appropriately for the weather. You will be walking in between the fence rows on uneven ground.

A lot of kids visit the farm each year and we love having them.  They do need to respect the rules laid out by the tour guides.   Counsel your children that they cannot pet the horses without first asking their tour guide and to stay off the fences.

We welcome group tours!! Call us for pricing and more information.

To visit our New York location, see their website at www.oldfriendsatcabincreek.com
