The Fifth Annual Old Friends Along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail® Event

A bourbon inspired dinner and tasting event that benefits Old Friends.

The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, at the hotel, 500 South Fourth Street in downtown Louisville. Tickets are $100 per person, and the hotel is offering guests a discounted room rate of $119 to all guests who would prefer to "take the elevator home".

The Oakroom is Kentucky’s only AAA Five Diamond restaurant.  The menu for the evening is as follows:

Pan Roasted Scallops
Shitake Mushroom and Sweet Pea Puree
Lemon-Bourbon Beurer Blanc

Bacon Wrapped Pork Loin
White Bean and Brussel Sprout Cassoulet
Bourbon Braised Belly

The Seelbach is adding even more hors d'oeuvres than past years and will be adding an improved variety and increased number of desserts to the usual line up of fantastic bourbons and wonderful dinner in the Oakroom. 

The benefit will be highlighted by Bourbon Tastings, a silent auction of exclusive equine artwork, collectible Bourbon items, fine jewelry, and more.  Stick around for the exciting live auction held by our good friends Tom Sayre and Curt Sharff.
