World Class Racing along with fun activities to benefit Old Friends Thoroughbred Retirement and Horses and Hope!

At noon, Jockey Rosie Napravnik will sign color photos for a $10 donation to Old Friends.
Patricia Cooksey, retired jockey and cancer survivors will sign Horses and Hope cards along with other lady jockeys.

Race 3 includes recognition of cancer survivors with a presentation of $2500 to Horses and Hope by Kentucky Downs.

The other nine races will benefit Old Friends Farms with sponsors donating $1,000 per race.

Old Friends and Horses and Hope will have gift items available.

A hat contest rounds out the day’s activities with a Grand Prize of $500 for the best hat! Horses and Hope will award a prize for the best Pink Hat. There will also be a ‘Filly’ hat category for girls 12 and under.

Horses and Hope is a breast cancer initiative of the Kentucky Office of the First Lady and the Kentucky Cancer Program (KCP).
